Flixel is simple, but powerfull ActionScript 3 library. With Flixel it is quite easy to create game using Flex. There are a lot of helpful constructs inside Flex framework, e.g. event listeners. Adam Atomic launched project Flixel.
Flixel is easy to use. Just few source code files could help you to build very simple game in few moments. Whole project is licenced under MIT licence. This licence is friendly for game developers.
You can find full set of tutorials: How to create game. The only trouble is that tutorials are little bit obsolete. If you would like to be up-to-date, do not forget to check GIT repository history.

It was long long time ago. I wrote PHP version of Games for Linux. It was written in PHP3. Games for Linux was here for you since summer 2001. It was providing archive of games which was tested for Linux. We helped many developers to fix their games for Linux. Sometimes it was easy, sometimes it was hard.
During all those years I made several attempts to improve Games for Linux. A lot of features were missing, like searching, comments and so on.
Here is new start
Let’s go and see what we could achive.
Old version of Games for Linux is still available at: games.linux.sk/index-old.php

12 Swap is a cute little match the smiley face puzzle game. It has two distinct modes of play. The first you just select, sit back, and match little smiley faces until the board runs out of selections. The second mode of play however is for the more tedious loving individuals. You will be setup with a timer and every round you will be given half of the credit needed to complete the round.
